August 6th, 2011, when I got the call that forever changed my life. I'd lost my boyfriend in a motorcycle crash while on a Harley Davidson tour in Malaysia. I was devastated and it took me about 3 years before I started going on dates again. Even now, he will always have a reserved spot in my heart.
Then in May 2014, I met this man on Tinder that I thought would be my husband. We planned to get married, I'd tried on gowns, we'd gone ring shopping, checked out wedding venues in Bali, but it all had to come crashing down in July 2015. It felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. I was lost and desperate. I fell into a state of depression. And if it wasn't for my BFF who got me into therapy, I wouldn't even be writing about this today.
But of course, everything happens for a reason. And I believe we still have the power to make our own choices despite the things we can't control. These people shared the longest time it took them to move on from someone. Tap on each screenshot to read their Stories.

Maaf, sekadar mengingatkan, moving on takes commitment and a lot of mental effort. The most important step to letting go and moving on tentunya adalah memaafkan dan mengikhlaskan. Kalau masih sulit mengikhlaskan, try to make a list of reasons why you're still feeling the way you're feeling right now. Kenapa masih nggak terima, kenapa masih sulit memaafkan, kenapa masih berat melepaskan? It's okay not to be okay.
Take one day at a time. There are no deadlines. Trust the process and understand that you're adjustment can be as gradual as you need it to be. It will happen as you become ready for it. If unfollowing them and blocking them help you heal faster, why not? Surround yourself with positive vibes and supportive people. Having a solid support system will help you a lot.

Good luck!
